Tiffany Deer
Tiffany Deer is the owner and founder of Deer Accounting. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Indiana University. She obtained her Masters degree in Human Resources (HR) Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, and is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as an Enrolled Agent (EA). Tiffany is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) as well. Tiffany's passion is finding ways to improve efficiencies for local small businesses, allowing them to focus on their specialties.
She does this with a team who is trustworthy, knowledgeable and reliable. Tiffany grew up in Greencastle, and currently lives south of town on a small cattle farm. She and her husband have three children who attend Greencastle schools. The Deers enjoy raising their children in the small town of Greencastle because of the quality people and relationships they have built over the last 35 years. When she isn't on the soccer sidelines or cheer competitions, she enjoys hiking and being outdoors with her family.
Holly McCullough
Holly offers client support in bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll and agency correspondence. Following her military experience, Holly closely works with nonprofits, contractors, HOA's and real estate professionals. Holly has five years experience in accounting, and is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Accounting, after which Holly plans to obtain her CPA. Holly appreciates Greencastle because of its diversity in small businesses. Being a part of Deer Accounting allows her insight into what day to day life as a CPA would look like. Holly enjoys working for Deer Accounting as she has flexibility and support when it comes to being a working mother.
Holly and her husband are raising their daughter in Brazil, Indiana. Together they operate Grazing Farms where they sell pasture raised chicken meat, eggs and lambs. Holly enjoys traveling, reading and cooking in her free time.
Molli Newby
Molli offers client support in bookkeeping, financial reporting and government compliance. Molli's clients represent specialty contracting, nonprofits, and units of the Indiana government. Molli has six years’ experience in accounting, with a background in logistics, and invoice compliance – backed with an associate’s degree in business administration. She enjoys living near Greencastle because being close to family and family values are important – and that’s what small town living is all about! Molli and her husband are raising two daughters in Fillmore, where they enjoy trail riding their horses, cookouts, fishing, and shenanigans with friends and family! She also enjoys camping, going to horse shows, home restoration, and going on adventures.
Allison Leonard
Allison offers client support in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and payroll services. Allison has supported many small businesses in Putnam County, industries to include Specialty Contractors, Appraisal Services, Real Estate Agencies, Manufacturing, Government Contract Compliance and HOA's. Allison has 25 years experience in accounting, and enjoys living in Greencastle because she respects the hard work and dedication of the people in the local businesses.
Allison and her husband love spending time with their grandchildren, and enjoy traveling together. When Allison isn't running the sweeper, she's practicing her yoga in her free time.
Heather Staebler
Heather supports our clients in all areas, from tax returns, filings and letters, to bookkeeping and financial reporting. Heather has extensive experience in customer service, and enjoys working with people! Heather enjoys working at Deer Accounting because it's a small firm with big values to help the community!
Heather and her husband are raising their two sons in Fillmore, Indiana. Heather operates a small retail business out of her home, where she is able to use her creativity and artistic skills! Heather enjoys camping, reading, and organizing in her free time.
Kasey Summerlot
Kasey is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a Quickbooks Pro Advisor. Kasey specializes in financial reporting, internal controls, and tax. Kasey oversees the client account managers at Deer Accounting, to ensure ongoing accuracy in financial reporting. Kasey has over 10 years experience in accounting and financial reporting, and holds a Bachelors in Accounting and MBA from Indiana State University. Kasey enjoys being on the Deer Accounting team because of the ability to help small business clients navigate and understand their financial position, allowing them to focus on running their businesses.
Kasey lives in Fillmore, Indiana with her two children. Together they raise and show Quarters horses at open shows, 4-H and rodeos. She is also serving as the 2025-2026 Horse & Pony Barn Superintendent for Putnam County. Kasey also enjoys camping, weight lifting and the gym in her free time.
Timothy Clary
Tim is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Tim has over 25 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting. Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Franklin College. He enjoys living and working in the small, college town of Greencastle because it is friendly, and offers plenty of nice amenities. Tim is married to Kristin Clary, who is the Executive Director of the Greencastle Putnam County Development Center. Tim and Kristin have two children (raised). Their daughter Madalyn is an attorney at Bose McKinney and Evans, and their son Justin is also a CPA at Katz, Sapper and Miller.
